Terms and Conditions – Not Wise Comps

2. The Competition
2.1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://puttfordough.co.uk (the “Website”).
2.2. All competitions are skill-based competitions. Entry fees are payable for online entries unless you use the free entry route (see section 3.11).
2.3. To enter, participants (“Entrants”) must correctly answer a question or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”).
3. How to Enter
3.1. Competitions open and close on the dates specified on the Website (the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date”). All times are UK time (London).
3.2. The Promoter may change the Opening and/or Closing Dates if absolutely necessary. Any changes will be updated on the Website. Dates will not be extended simply to sell more entries.
3.3. Entries must be received before the specified Closing Date and time. Late entries may be disqualified without a refund.
3.4. Each competition will have a maximum number of entries stated on the Website. Entry may close early if the limit is reached.
3.5. Entrants may enter as many times as allowed per competition until limits are reached. Free entries must be submitted individually. Bulk entries will only count as one.
3.6. To enter online:
(a) Visit the Website and view the Competition Question.
(b) Select your answer and number of entries.
(c) Complete the checkout and registration process.
(d) Pay for your entries to receive confirmation.
(e) You may repeat this process until entry limits are reached.
3.7. Entries must be submitted in English. Non-English entries will be disqualified without refund.
3.8. Confirmation of entry and allocated ticket number(s) will be provided (except for free entries).
3.9. The Promoter is not responsible for incomplete, lost, or delayed entries caused by technical issues or otherwise.
3.10. By purchasing entries, you enter a contract with the Promoter and agree to be bound by these terms.
3.11. Free entry by post is available:
(a) Send an unenclosed postcard via 1st or 2nd class post to: Not Wise Comps, 1 Lodge Road, Larne, BT401AZ
(b) Hand deliveries will not be accepted.
(c) Include:
- Your full name
- Address
- Contact phone number and email
- The competition you are entering and your answer
(d) Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
(e) Each free entry must be posted separately. Bulk entries in one envelope count as a single entry.
(f) You confirm eligibility by submitting a free entry.
(g) Free entries must arrive before the Closing Date. Proof of posting is not proof of entry.
(h) No confirmation will be given for free entries.
(i) If the entry limit is reached before your entry arrives, it will not be included.
(j) You must have an account on the Website. Details provided in your free entry must match your registered account.
4. Choosing a Winner
4.1. All eligible Entrants who answer correctly will be entered into a random draw. The draw will take place within 7 days of the Closing Date (the “Draw Date”).
4.2. Entrants’ names and ticket numbers may be included in a spreadsheet published on the Website and/or shown during the live draw. If you wish to remain anonymous, you must email [email protected]
at least 48 hours before the draw.

5. Eligibility
5.1. Competitions are open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over, excluding:
(a) employees of the Promoter;
(b) employees of suppliers or agents professionally connected to the competition;
(c) immediate family or household members of (a) and (b).
5.2. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility. Failure to provide this may result in disqualification.
5.3. Entries that are automated or incomplete will not be accepted.
5.4. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose conduct is abusive, fraudulent, or contrary to the spirit of the competition.
5.5. Entry fees are non-refundable, except in limited circumstances (see clause 11.3).
5.6. Fraudulent behaviour (e.g. hacking, misrepresentation, unauthorised code use) will void all entries and may result in a permanent ban.
6. The Prize
6.1. Prize details are published on the Website.
6.2. Prizes are subject to availability. Substitutions of equal or greater value may be made.
6.3. The Promoter makes no warranty as to the quality, condition, or accuracy of Prize descriptions.
6.4. Prizes may be supplied by a third party (“Supplier”). Details will be provided where applicable.
6.5. The Promoter reserves the right to offer a cash alternative in certain circumstances (e.g. if the prize becomes unavailable).
6.6. Prizes are not transferable or negotiable.
7. Winners
7.1. The Promoter’s decision is final.
7.2. Winners’ names may be announced during the live draw unless anonymity has been requested in advance.
7.3. Winners will be contacted within a reasonable time using the details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within 21 days, the prize may be offered to an alternate winner drawn from eligible entries.
7.4. The Promoter will publish the winner’s name and county on the Website unless the winner opts out by contacting [email protected]

8. Claiming the Prize
8.1. Prizes must be claimed personally.
8.2. Entrants must keep their contact details up to date with the Promoter.
8.3. Cash prizes will be transferred directly to a verified bank account in the winner’s name.
8.4. The Promoter accepts no liability if you cannot or do not take up your prize.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Promoter and its agents are not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by acceptance of the prize except in cases of negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Data Protection & Publicity
10.1. Personal data will be used only for administering the competition in line with our Privacy Policy.
10.2. Winners agree that their name, image, and county may be used for publicity, unless they opt out in advance.
10.3. The Promoter may still be required to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority.
10.4. Winners may be asked to provide proof of identity and eligibility before the prize is awarded.
10.5. Entrants can request deletion of their data, but this will withdraw them from the competition as we would be unable to contact them if they win.
11. General
11.1. The Promoter may amend these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on the Website.
11.2. Breach of these terms may result in disqualification.
11.3. The Promoter may void, suspend, or amend a competition if necessary for reasons beyond its control. In such cases, refunds will be issued.
11.4. Competitions will go ahead regardless of entry numbers. Prizes will be awarded even if minimum entry thresholds are not met.
11.5. Competitions are not sponsored or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform.
11.6. These terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
11.7. You should print and retain a copy of these terms for your records.
